We have our slam team and we celebrated Joyce’s birthday on the same Sunday! It was a great night last Sunday with a wonderful vibe! The poetry slam team is listed on the sidebar and our “Slam” page. A very talented team that should do us proud at the National Poetry Slam. We have a good schedule of regional slams this summer against tough teams from the north east. Joyce’s birthday party was wild! Decorations, cake, presents and much love for our Co-Slam Master, Joyce “Slam Mama” Cunha! A sold out room helped Joyce celebrate her day with well wishes on the open mic, hugs and kisses! Joyce is a jewel and we love her and the hard work she puts in at the Lizard on Sunday! Happy Belated Birthday Joyce!!
