Lizard Lounge Poetry Jam

The Great and Legendary Lizard Lounge Poetry Slam team was in the house and they tore it down!! Burned the walls with their intense imagery! Iyeoka, Oz, Adam, Christopher and 125 put on the best show of any Poetry Slam team that has graced the Lizard Lounge! They made us laugh, cry and scream back at the stage!! The true kings of Rock & Roll and Poetry!! The Lizard Lounge Poetry Slam Team!!! AHHHHHHHH!!

A great slam at the Lizard yesterday as well that the Lizard Slam Team dominated! Christopher and Iyeoka had 2 overtime ties and decided to keep it at a draw and save it for the National Poetry Slam.

I hosted the open mic that was fun and most necessary!!

The Cantab was in the house yesterday!! Raising hell and the roof!! What a great poetry slam team!! An outstanding group of poets that will do much damage at the National Poetry Slam in Austin Texas in 2 weeks. This is the Cantab’s 8th annual feature at the Lizard Lounge. Good luck in Austin Cantab!

The weekly slam at the Lizard was fun! We had a full slam and Tai won after going into overtime against J*me. A fun slam with a roomful of baby-mamas.

The Lizard Lounge Poetry Slam Team won the regional yesterday. It was another fun night at the Lizard Lounge. The next 2 Sundays are open slams so come on down and sign up!!

Ed rocked the house yesterday!! An amazing poet who also has a very low voice to boot. He came into the Lizard Lounge and took care of business! Stellar performance by the 2007 Individual World Poetry Slam Champion!!

The Slam was great! It was a regional with 4 teams. We had Manchester, Worcester, Cantab and the Lizard Lounge in the house it was an extremely high scoring slam with loads of tens for all the poets! The Lizard Lounge won the slam but it was close!!
