Lizard Lounge Poetry Jam

Blair was the featured poet yesterday and he was sensational!! A wonderful talent and great person as well! He had his guitar and sang a few songs for us too so he came ready to jam!! I first saw him at the National Poetry Slam in 2002 and he blew the roof off the place! He did the same yesterday at the Lizard Lounge and it was a pleasure to have him back at the club.

Adam Stone won the slam yesterday. We are about to start a new slam season soon. Things have changed at the National Poetry Slam so we will change things at the Lizard to accommodate it. The iWPS for 2008 is in October so we will have 2 sets of slams to determine our representative. Check here for more info.

Vernon was a great featured poet yesterday. A fun feature with a good audience that had fun. Vernon was on point doing new and old poems as well as a few covers. Vernon is a hard working producer of many poetry eventsin the greater Boston area.

We had a fun slam that Christopher johnson won. He and Tai were in the finals and it was a spirted slam.
