The Lizard Lounge Poetry Jam
The Lizard Lounge Poetry Jam and Slam is an award winning weekly feature of the Lizard Lounge located at 1667 Massachusetts Ave. in Cambridge MA. The Jam and Slam happen every Sunday night at 7:30PM and are hosted by Joyce Cunha, Arthur Collins and Jeff Robinson. A featured poet, sometimes of national prominence, performs each week, and The Jeff Robinson Trio, a collective comprising of three of Boston’s most well known and heralded musicians, lays down the musical foundation for spoken word performances that have made this event a must see for over 15 years. If you are local to the Boston area, or visiting for the very first time, you owe it to yourself to check out this amazing night — you will never think of live poetry in quite the same way again.
