Long Live the King!!
Lizard King Christopher
Christopher Johnson and Marlon Carey went toe to toe in a heated battle Sunday May 23. 2010 at the Lizard Lounge! This was a historic slam at the Lizard because these two men have a very interesting history together as friends, foes and co-workers!
Christopher Johnson won and will potentially represent the Lizard Lounge in the individual World Poetry Slam which will be in Philadelphia in the Fall of 2010! He will have a few battles in the Summer against qualifying poets and if he survives those he will go to Philly so it’s not set in stone yet.
But Christopher is the reigning Lizard King!! ALL HAIL THE KING!!!
