Lexi Wight is a poet transplanted from Maine into the Boston Poetry scene. Growing up, she was an avid writer and reader, as well as ran a traveling summer Shakespeare troupe. Today, she spends her days working with host families of international students and spends her nights seeking out art in all its forms.
Lexi was knighted at Terry O’Reilly’s Open Mic Jam and on the slam team for three consecutive years for Lizard Lounge. While on the slam team, she performed with them regionally as well as traveled to Nationals in Atlanta, Denver, and Chicago. In addition she has been a feature poet at Lizard Lounge, Hale Education, and Stone Soup poetry, as well as a guest on 87FM’s Smokin’ Rhymes and the Boston Stoops podcast.
She also enjoys going on adventures with her rambunctious pup, keeping her houseplants alive, and game nights with her husband, friends, and family
