Event Description

Sara Kahlo

Sara Kahlo

Sara is a studying Social Work Masters student at Boston University, who’s interested in using writing as a means of exploring loss, trauma, grief, and ones on identity. She has learned that writing and expressive art has given the power back to those who have fractured pieces of their identities after sexual trauma and domestic abuse. Sara hopes her work will connect and help mend others who have experienced such things in their own lives and give them hope and strength to move forward. She has taken writing classes through various GrubStreet programs and has been a lover of her community of Grove Hall and surrounding areas for most of her life.

The event is a live ZOOM Presentation.
