Yunus Quddus
Yunus Quddus is a writer, performer, poet, actor, storyteller, and painter who began playing with words and art since the age of six. Writing and remixing classic poetry and stories, as well as, creating his own original works has driven and sustained his passion for words, written and spoken, throughout his entire life. He has been performing at various venues and events for 15 years including Rhode Island College, University of Rhode Island, Brown University and Bryant College. Yunus is known for his sparkling personality and energetic flow that seems to ignite any room he performs in with an amazing range of emotion and purity which he openly relays to his audience. Among his many accomplishments, Yunus, recently, won first place in Boston’s First Night Poetry Slam 2013. He has shared his unique skill set with students for over 10 years offering writing process, performance tips and instruction. He has produced three spoken word and poetry CDs and is creating a book of fictional short stories. He is a Theater and Arts major at Rhode Island college.Yunus has dedicated himself to taking every class within the performance and literary arts. He life goal is to master the arts and teach others to do the same.
